Your Licensed Therapist in the Tri-Cities Area

Telehealth Available

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and nationally certified addictions counselor (BADA and NCACII). I have been rewarded by helping thousands of clients over the last 34-plus years as a licensed therapist and trauma counselor. I hold Masters Degrees from Purdue University and The University of Illinois and carry six licenses in Ohio (Retired license), Nevada and Washington (Active licenses). I have practiced in Washington since 1995.

My clinical focus is on couples as well as individual adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, workplace challenges, addictions, life trauma, low self-esteem, and other types of psychological issues causing emotional stress. This depth of skill allows me to combine multiple counseling techniques to help guide clients on their journey towards the life they want to live.

I love learning and keep my skills and mindset fresh by participating in continuing education hours above and beyond the required number for depression and anxiety counselors.

Frequently Asked Questions about Licensed Therapists and Trauma Counselors

How can a trauma counselor help me?

Trauma needs to be acknowledged and processed in order for the healing process to begin. A trauma counselor can help you understand your trauma and how it affects you, and give you tools to process hurtful past events.
