Counseling Costs in Tri-Cities, WA

Rates

Each 50-minute session, whether individual or couples therapy, is $150.  Initial intake appointments are $200.

Payment

Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel an appointment please call the office no later than 10am two business days prior at (509) 579-0202. Late cancellations or missed appointments without proper notification, will incur a $150 fee.

Insurance

The following providers recognize my services: Premera Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Regence, Cigna, Kaiser Access PPO, Asuris, First Choice, Tri-West, and others.

Sessions may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please review your benefits handbook or contact your benefits administrator or insurance company to verify the following questions:

  • Is mental health benefits part of my covered services?
  • What is the amount of my deductible and co-pay for mental health services?
  • What is the number of allowable sessions per calendar year?
  • Does my plan cover expenses for out-of-network providers?
  • What is the allowable coverage for each session?
  • Is pre-authorization is required by the insurance company prior to treatment?
  • Is approval from a primary care physician required prior to treatment?
